Star Art Gallery Opening

Star is a phenomenal artist who was first inspired by watching his mother in Brooklyn, NY trace Polaroid images after holding them up to the light. After several years of independent practice, he went on to study at the Art Institute of New York City and has been featured at the RAW artist showcase of Silver Spring, Maryland as well as iNCLUSION fESTIVAL in Fairfax, Virginia.

Several community innovators gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Star’s beautiful first solo exhibit in sPACYcLOUd this past Wednesday evening. When asked of his intentions with creating, he said "it seems the only time people see my soul is through my art."

Star's one-of-a-kind collection will continue to be on display for over a month with us. The memorable portraits dripping in colorful hues are very thought provoking so come out to enjoy his unique, vibrant art while you can up close and personal including one inspired by our own sPACYcLOUd owner!
