NorthWoods is an experimental electronics project from Charlie Kramer that blends heavy beats, atmospheric textures, grinding dissonance, and disembodied found sounds. Charlie has been playing live since the 1970s mainly in punk, metal, industrial and experimental acts. A former Homestead Records recording artist, he has performed at CBGBs, SXSW, and in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, and Belgium. NorthWoods' music has been reviewed on disquiet.com and featured at Musikfestival Bern and on compilations by Electronic Cottage, Lost Frog and Institute for Alien Research.
